Very disappointed with our recent stay at the Flamingo Hotel. Paid $400 a night for subpar service and accommodations. 1. No basic essentials like hand soap/shower gel 2. Requested housekeeping services and never came 3. Housekeeper opened our door and came in room at 9am Sunday morning while we were in bed 4. Emergency alarm going off at 4am for over 5 min for no reason- this was extremely loud and stressful. Not relaxing at all. 5. Addressed concerns with front desk staff and was given $30 resort credit that never was credited on final bill. Overall poor experience for 5 star prices.

The hotel is a little run down and the hot water wasn't working for a couple of instances 2 days in a row (in the morning). Hidden fees 'resort fees' were charged 45 dollars a day for all who books awareness. Nice spot on the strip would be the only reason to book here really outside of the well kept pool and garden areas.

This was my 6th time in Vegas and 3rd time at the flamingo. We did not have a great experience- overall. First of all, we were there from Tuesday, April 23 through Saturday, April 27. One of our main reasons for wanting to go this time was my nephew and Son just turned 21 in December in January. We wanted to celebrate and have them experience the Vegas lifestyle. For starters, our room did not get cleaned once the whole time we were there. If you were not up and out early in the a.m., the housekeeping crew did not double back, and come back to your room to clean it once they’ve passed by. We were told upon check-in that they were shorthanded and asked if we wanted to be put on the list for housekeeping? I thought that was a weird question, but we did advise them that we would like our room cleaned… that didn’t happen. We actually had to call down and request towels, washcloths, and toilet paper. Hours later, they were put in our room. We actually left all the wet towels and washcloths outside of our door because they started to smell, and they were still left there until we brought them back in our room b/c we felt bad leaving them outside the door. CRAZY! As for the casino experience, I don’t believe that there was a good variety of slots. If you wanted to gamble, you had to do it early in the morning because once nighttime hit, it became a stampede. The whole hotel was crazy. I can deal with busy but this was over the top! Waitresses were not seen and only got offered a drink twice the whole time we stayed there. Should be complementary when you’re playing. It kind of seems like they were wanting people to go up to the bar to order so that they could pay, which is wrong! When you took a shower, there was a half glass door ??? which managed to leak a ton of water onto a very slippery floor. It’s very dangerous! Especially for the elderly. I’m sure there’s been a lot of lawsuits…or they’ll be coming… The next day, we decided to try the pool, as the ambience seems beautiful. First of all, the security was definitely a little bit overboard upon entering. Even though it’s April, I didn’t expect a pool to feel as cold as this one. This is the coldest pool I have ever felt while on vacation, or taking a dip at a hotel pool. Yes it’s April, however, if you have guests-trying to swim, you better do something to accommodate and regulate that temperature. As quick as we got in, we had to get out. Not fun. The elevators were also quite slow snd crowded. I’m not blaming the hotel for the amount of ppl on it(that’s just the ignorance of others, in general…but it was never a quick, smooth experience. Another BIG issue was that when you finally try and settle in for the night…and are absolutely exhausted… you can’t sleep because the hotel is BLARING super loud music that was felt all the way on the 12th floor… over earplugs… for hours until 3 or 4 in the A.M. My sister, who stayed down the hall actually called to complain… who got switched to security for whatever reason and was told they’d look into it. The Flamingo was the one playing the loud music, not a guest. Obviously, we didn’t stay in hotel the whole time, but had issues all the way around. Despite the rough hotel stay, we had a great time! Do your research before booking!

You pay this much for a hotel you expect a hot shower... No hot water the whole time. Room not clean, there were pubes in our bathroom. No coffee pots in the room either which is disappointing because Starbucks in the morning is slammed. I think I got charged $60 2x for parking too which I'll have to deal with when I get home. Not a fan

Beautiful but many people, no accommodations, if you want to talk decently or have some privacy impossible! The music is not for my taste either, I pay for a room to enjoy the view and the noise didn't let me rest. Most of the time people enjoying the place are not Hotel guests.
